CHRIS MACCLUGAGE - 13 TIMES A WORLD CHAMPION

It takes a lot of dedication and a great deal of skill to become a champion just the once. Very rarely does someone go on and do it for a second time and becoming not just a champion but a World Champion 13 times is almost unheard of!

That person is Chris MacClugage and has been World Champion (as well as numerous other titles) in the dangerous and demanding world of jet ski racing.
When you are standing up on a high performance jet ski capable of doing over 100 kph, being buffeted by strong off shore winds and hitting breakers large enough to send you flying several metres in the air and you are still able to keep control, when you know that any false move could be fatal, and yet you still ride out every day to confront these challenges and come out a winner, then that takes a great deal of courage, not something that Chris is lacking in.

Together with his wife Rachel, herself a multi-champion on the jet ski circuit and an Alpina fan, Chris continues to compete and win across disciplines, but his strength is that of endurance racing, the toughest of them all. You still need to go fast, you still need to beat the conditions and your competitors but you need to do it over a long period of time.
