To feel the wind in our faces, to experience the thrill and excitement of doing everything we can to win is one of our oldest, and defining, characteristics. All cultures, and all times, have raced and even technology might have changed beyond all recognition from and beyond the imagination of the first people to race, the pleasure gained remains timeless and unchanging.
